We maintain the belief that children learn about their world through play and discovery. Our trained teachers provide a safe learning environment where children are given the opportunity to wonder and learn about the world they live in. They are encouraged to discover new things and to see where their imagination can take them through music, art, science, and play. There are no limits to what a young child can learn when they are encouraged to ask questions and to investigate their answers. Classes are available for children 2-5 years of age.

YOUNG ADULT MISSIONS
Young Adult 20 and 30 somethings
The Young Adults of SHUP are comprised of individuals that fall into the “20-30 somethings” age range. The group meets monthly for the purpose of fellowship and discussion of life, scripture, and roles within the church.
The Young Adults group has a large presence within the church; holding positions in the choir, deacons, session, and other areas of leadership. Along with regular participation in SHUP events, the Young Adults are active in local mission opportunities, such as Garfield Farms and Hosanna Industries. Over the last 5 years, the Young Adults have served in Wilmington, North Carolina for a week-long mission trip in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

In the summer of 2022, the Young Adults Completey rennovated our Findley Hall to make it an updated and welcoming new fellowship space!
The Young Adult community at SHUP is an ever-growing and welcoming group welcome to all.
