We maintain the belief that children learn about their world through play and discovery. Our trained teachers provide a safe learning environment where children are given the opportunity to wonder and learn about the world they live in. They are encouraged to discover new things and to see where their imagination can take them through music, art, science, and play. There are no limits to what a young child can learn when they are encouraged to ask questions and to investigate their answers. Classes are available for children 2-5 years of age.

REV. LAURA STRAUSS
Pastor Laura received her Master of Divinity degree from the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and her Bachelor of Arts in English and Art History from Chatham University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Ministry with a focus on the impact of intergenerational relationships on the faith development of young adults. SHELBY GRACEY
MUSIC DIRECTOR
Shelby is organist, pianist, and the director of our adult choir. She has been with Sunset Hills for over a decade and has increased the choir to over 20 members. Additionally she directs our 5- octave handbell and chime choir. Shelby also collaborates with members of the choir and local churches to help spread the joy of music.

Dr. Bill Gracey served the Sunset Hills UPC congregation from February 1999 until his retirement in November 2013. His hard-working passion for the ministry, his sense of humor, and his pastoral care for us all are just some of the qualities that make him our beloved Pastor Emeritus.
