Sunset Hills Nursery School has been housed here at Sunset Hills United Presbyterian Church for 50 years.

We maintain the belief that children learn about their world through play and discovery. Our trained teachers provide a safe learning environment where children are given the opportunity to wonder and learn about the world they live in. They are encouraged to discover new things and to see where their imagination can take them through music, art, science, and play. There are no limits to what a young child can learn when they are encouraged to ask questions and to investigate their answers. Classes are available for children 2-5 years of age.

Music & Worship
At Sunset Hills, we believe in the power of music to lift us up and enhance our worship experience. We have several music groups, including the Chancel Choir, Bell Choir, and our church-grown musical group GPM (Gathering of Presbyterian Men). Additionally, throughout the summer, the Chancel Choir takes a break, and many members and friends of Sunset Hills provide worship music. Our Men’s and Ladies’ Choruses consist of any men or women who wish to sing for one service in the summer, with just one rehearsal prior to worship that morning. We also have many talented members, as well as friends from other churches, who play instruments or sing solos, duets, or ensembles. Volunteers are always welcome!

Our Chancel Choir is comprised of over 20 adults who practice on Tuesday evenings and sing in worship every Sunday. The choir is active from September through May, with a break for the summer. All are welcome if you wish to join this great group for fellowship, friendship, and raising our voices to glorify God!

Our Campanile Bell Choir is comprised of 10-12 adults, playing 3-5 octaves of White Chapel and Schulmerich handbells. The bell choir practices weekly and plays for occasional worship services throughout the year.

GPM (Gathering of Presbyterian Men)
This group of guys (and occasionally some gals), accompanied by guitar, bass, piano, and percussion has fun playing not just sacred music, but secular music as well. They sing occasionally for worship, as well as other special events throughout the year.
