Boy Scouts - Troop 65 (age 12 - 18)
Established in 1943, Scout Troop 65 of Mt. Lebanon, PA offers opportunities for youth ages 12-18 to experience the outdoors, learn outdoor skills, provide community service and grow in leadership through a structured advancement program. Troop 65 serves scouts from various public and private schools in and around the Mt. Lebanon area.
Some highlights of the scouting program include camping, backpacking, kayaking, Klondike Derby, Adopt-a-Highway, broomball and summer camp. We also take scouts to summer camp as well as regular service and adventure trips. Scout Troop 65 has a proud tradition of success resulting in over one hundred Troop 65 scouts attaining Eagle rank.
Scouting’s Journey to Excellence is the BSA’s planning, performance, and recognition program designed to encourage and reward the success of our units, districts, and councils. It is meant to encourage excellence in providing a quality program at all levels of the BSA. Since the program's inception, we've earned the Journey to Excellence - Gold Level.
